Splurge on a trendy must-have only if it allows versatility for wearing daily at work and otherwise, and if it goes with your personal pieces (leggings, skinny jeans, boyfriend jacket).

What to wear - Timeless pieces even though expensive are a must-have for every wardrobe. To make a basic black dress interesting, add texture via tights featuring openwork patterns to let your skin peek. Vertical openwork patterned tights make legs seem longer, and coupled with simple dresses or tunics in crepe, and a knitted sweater or jersey gives a beautiful finish.
