Looks matter most to girls who are perpetually driven to look their best, at least fashion wise. Teenagers generally like to stay up to date with the latest fashion trends and want to wear clothes other teens wear. This could also be a repercussion of peer pressure. Understandable though, it can also lead to teens wearing clothes bound to give a shockingly indecent/ridiculous appearance.
